Biscornu

I found a blog about "biscornu" and wondered what they were... started searching and really liked the ease of the designs. They are all about 3 - 4" square with sometimes intricate and sometimes simple stitching patterns. Made these as ornaments for my girls for last Christmas.

Golden Eagle

This is an old project. Probably completed 12 years ago. One of the few that I actually did on 14 count aida.

Butterflies

This one came as a package project but I hated the gold metallic thread. It is difficult to work with and I didn't think that bamboo really should have that look. So, I pulled it out and replaced it with a goldish brown thread... I like much better. This was a quick stitch and lots of fun.

Geisha

This came as a package project but like most of my work, I changed the material I worked on... this was done on 18 count ivory linen.

Brody's Stocking

I stitched a stocking for a friend that does my hair. She had a baby in October, and I wanted to create something personal for her... now I am working on Ayden's (her other son) stocking!

Jacquelyn's Stocking

I had stitched Jacquelyn's stocking YEARS ago... but needed Grams to put it all together for me. I choose the material for the back, lining and trim and she creates a beautiful finish!

Finished Stocking

And at Christmas, Nate loved his new stocking. :)
