Over the years I have become the Christmas Stocking maker. All the stockings I make have some level of customization in them. Each of my daughters have a stocking and when my eldest got involved and started talking about "forever," I told her I would make a stocking for Nate. I chose a design and sent it to her - she didn't like it... wanted something more personal. So together we designed a Laker's stocking for him. I took pictures of the progress since they live 10 hours away and I wanted my daughter to see the progess. Also, my grandmother (in her 90s) does the sewing while I do the stitching... making it even more special for the receiver.
